Centaris Acquires North Country IT

Acquisition advances the customer impact of Michigan IT firm.

STERLING HEIGHTS (Mich.) October, 2021Centaris, formed earlier this year through a merger between the Centaris and Business Communication Systems, is continuing to expand and improve its capabilities by the recent acquisition of Petosky-based North Country IT.

Centaris, which serves more than 1,500 businesses nationwide and is located in Sterling Heights, made the acquisition of the northern Michigan firm official on September 1. This company development expands Centaris’ ability to provide high quality services and additional capabilities to customers now and into the future. North Country IT owners Sean Pethers and Jess Goodwin will stay involved with the organization as part of the Centaris team.

The expanded northern Michigan team will work out of the Centaris office located at 1301 U.S. 131 in Petoskey.
